Have you wondered how to start. Here is a short and simple  kick-start guide

As you start  get clear about you success criteria, and ask yourself:

What would I like to a achieve?
(sell a product or service, start a group, create awareness about my topic of discussion etc. )

Then go ahead:
 1. Create a website. Your website is your business card, but keep it very simple. You site should contain HOME, ABOUT and CONTACT buttons as minimum. HOME & ABOUT could be the same page. The rest is optional, and you can always add more later on.

Simple design can look like this:

 2. Connect your site to Social Media channels of your preference. Rather use one or two channels that you are comfortable about to use and where you already have audience and activity on. (Unless your objective is exactly to promote yourself on a new channel.) Your site will be the anchor for your activities on Social Media. When you make a post - you can link to your website where the visitors can read and see more. That way you can gradually build content on your site and attract more visitors.

  3. Use a calendar to shedule your posts, and keep an eye on metrics like:
  • Leads - how many people contact you
  • Inquiries or questions about your product or service (if you have published information abou it on your site)
  • Comments on your posts
  • Registrations to your events ( if you announce about them on your site)
  • Shares of your content on Social Media channels

Good luck and let me know if it was helpful!
